With all due respect to Mr. Bond, I must also point out the fact that the college basketball scene descends upon us once again beginning this week. So, with that in mind…

We now know one thing about the Titans, and it is a scary proposition – the offense can win games through the air. With their running game shut down by the Bears, Kerry Collins threw for 289 yards, the first time a Tennessee QB has thrown for over 200 yards all season. That being said, the performance came against the league’s 30th-ranked pass defense. So the Titans passing attack isn’t totally proven yet. This week’s match-up in Jacksonville is a trap game for Jeff Fisher’s squad before a pivotal meeting with the Jets next week. However, if the Titans can improve to 10-0, and get an upset from Houston over the Colts, Tennessee will hold a 6 game lead in the division with six games remaining.

Send It In (or more like pack it in for the rest of this season)
This team is bad. Plain and simple. Texas Tech, Florida, and a few other high-powered college offenses could dismantle this team right now. Lions fans better hope God is smiling on them come December 7 against the Vikings, because that is the next and last chance Detroit has for a win. The Lions have lost 16 of their last 17 dating back to last year, with their only win coming against K.C. Fitting, considering those two squads will probably hold the top two picks in next year’s draft.
