Jose Canseco is mad. And it has nothing to do with the recent hand injury he sustained while cleaning one of his guns.

You see, not long after the October 28 shooting that destroyed the middle finger on his left hand, Canseco and his fiancée Leila Knight hit the tabloid news circuit, appeared on “Inside Edition” and the embattled former slugger broke down crying.
But it wasn’t as it appeared.
“I don’t care about my finger,” Canseco told The Hall Friday, “and when I broke down crying in that interview, it was because they had [my fiancée and me] reenact what happened and I didn’t realize how close Leila was to me and that traumatized me.”
Sure, I’ve made cracks at Canseco’s expense, but this is ridiculous. I mean, if you’ve seen the video (you can watch it below), it’s pretty clear the guy was upset at how close the ordeal was to becoming more than just a damaged digit.
