UPDATE: 2/6/2015. We are getting some disturbing updates now on the Joseph Randle troubles and they are not good at all.
From Brandon George’s twitter:
If Joseph Randle is eventually charged with a domestic violence offense in the case, he could face a 6-game suspension for 1st-time offense.

You would hope after getting in trouble during the season for stealing cologne and underwear that Joseph Randle would straighten himself out – nope. Randle is in trouble again for allegedly being in possession of marijuana, and possibly involving a domestic violence dispute. If everything confirms to be true, this guy is a complete knucklehead. He could get drug tested by the league and face suspension, because he’ll probably fail. And it’s open season on anything domestic violence related.
You have the starting running back position right in front of you and you go and basically say you don’t want the job with these latest antics.
You want to know why Ryan Williams was given a pretty good signing bonus of ~$240k? It’s probably for insurance for this kind of stupid behavior.
From PFT:
The Wichita Police Department has confirmed that Cowboys running back Joseph Randle was arrested in Wichita, despite Randle’s agent saying otherwise.
After the reports surfaced this morning that Randle had been arrested on drug charges, Randle’s agent took to Twitter and disputed those reports. Agent Erik Burkhardt said that while it was true that Randle had an encounter with the police, they only ticketed Randle and did not arrest him. (More)
From DWF NBC:
Randle, 23, was reportedly in a hotel room arguing with a 22-year-old woman with whom he shares a child. When police were called on a report of domestic violence, they found marijuana in the room and Randle was ticketed. (More)
Dumb. Dumb. DUMB!
This probably makes the Cowboys think twice or three times in letting DeMarco Murray hit free agency? If it doesn’t, then running back may jump to the top of free agency or the NFL draft. Murray is the righ kind of guy Garrett wants, Randle is not. We’ll see what happens next.
