Joseph scores 11 in Toros debut

Cory JosephSan Antonio Spurs guard Cory Joseph made his Austin Toros debut last night in a win against the Maine Red Claws.

Joseph started for the Toros and finished the game with 11 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals in the 109-103 win.

With the loss of Squeaky Johnson to the New Orleans Hornets, Joseph should be able to step in and provide some help, especially on the defensive end for the 10-3 Toros.

Joseph will also get some much-needed playing time, while he continues to develop within the Spurs’ system.

Joseph will suit up for his second Toros game tonight against the Texas Legends.
