After days of turmoil both on and off the field, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and former starting quarterback Josh Freeman have parted ways. In a situation that clearer was not working in either parties favor, the Buccaneers felt it was best for them to make this choice early in the season rather than later. Josh Freeman had held the starting job in Tampa Bay since 2009 after being drafted 17th overall in the first round. After a lackluster start to the 2013 season which ultimately left Freeman being benched after a week 3 loss to the New England Patriots, the question now is, what is next for Josh. The season is already a quarter of the way through and there is no real market for a quarterback. Only true landing ground in this young season as of now would be the Jacksonville Jaguars if Josh is willing to play for a team that will be vying for the top pick in next years draft come seasons end. Maybe the Browns or Minnesota may call but right now in the midst of it all, teams should allow the mockery to settle and if needed, give Josh a call.
