Josh Reddick Skips Mamba Day to Witness History

-2

Wednesday was, apparently, Mamba Day.

Didn’t get the memo? It’s cool. Like so many other NBA fans, a host of Major Leaguers (including Yasiel Puig to Matt Kemp) showed their appreciation for Kobe Bryant for you.

Even Mike Trout got into the act!

Perhaps forgetting he was supposed to dress up in purple and gold, Josh Reddick opted to don the blue and yellow and watch history unfold in Oakland instead.

That’s right, that’s the Oakland A’s outfielder in the stands at Oracle Arena watching the Golden State Warriors making history with their NBA-record 73 wins.

And in case you were keeping track, Bryant had 60 points in his swansong, but it’ll be Reddick’s Warriors that soldier on to the Playoffs.
