Earlier today, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com announced that assistant hitting coach Wally Joyner had left the Phillies. Nobody really knew why, but now it’s apparent, as Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports has just reported that he will be joining the Detroit Tigers as their hitting coach.
Sources: Joyner to be #Tigers hitting coach, joining former #Padres teammate Ausmus. @JSalisburyCSN first reported Joyner leaving #Phillies.
