USMNT star Jozy Altidore scored two goals while returning to the starting lineup for AZ for the time since December 12. The 22 year old went the full 90 as AZ drew Heerenveen 3-3. Milan went ahead of Juve after Noccerino’s long range shot which took a deflection and ended up in the back of the net. The talking point of the game occurred moments later when Mutari headed the ball and it visibly crossed the goal line and yet the referee did not call the goal. That missed call could end up costing AC the scudetto.
Finally in Spain Cristiano Ronaldo scored a cheeky goalazo as Real beat cross city rivals Rayo Vellecano. Ronaldo’s goal was the lone goal in the fixture as Real Madrid continues their winning form.
