Tuesday night, a rehabbing Josh Reddick took the field for the Sacramento River Cats, going 1-for-3 with a single, a stolen base and a team-high three runs scored.
And based on this…the Oakland A's outfielder is nearly back to form.
Nice. Given Reddick's past, it makes perfect sense that the 26-year-old would be using Shawn Michaels' music.
Reddick, a rabid WWE fan, has, in the past, used Daniel Bryan's theme as his walk up song and, in the off season, even entered into a "beard off" with the Superstar. Unfortunately, Reddick lost when he trimmed his chin curtain in an effort to break out of a slump.
Here's hoping new music and a new look gets Reddick on the right path. In just 29 games this season, he is hitting .152 with only one home run and 14 RBI.
