Since I moved over to Bloguin I really haven’t had a chance to check in with you guys. Since today is a little slow news wise. That’s what I thought I’d do.
One of the few things I’ve been disappointed with since my move has been the decrease in comments. This summer the comment section was on fire and really added so much to the blog. The number of visitors have stayed the same but the comments have trailed off. I’m thinking it has a lot to do with the new comments section which, I have to admit, is a pain. But I’ve been assured that the new comment section should be available next week and will offer real time comments (similar to the live chats) as well as other features which will hopefully make you guys more comfortable commenting.
I also want to thank all of you for sending over so many pictures and stories. I can’t tell you how many e-mails and tweets I’ve received from from readers saying how much they love that stuff so keep them coming to my e-mail: [email protected].
Next, thanks for bearing with me during the Avery All Star campaign. I feel that it’s taken away a little bit from the blog. To be honest, I didn’t expect it to take off the way it did and now that Avery is in the top 25 forwards I figure I have to see this thing through. I’m not a quitter.
Finally, the best part of the blog is interacting with the readers. I can’t tell you how much it means to me when I receive a comment, tweet, e-mail or facebook from you guys and gals. It is even more special to actually meet some of you at games and other events. I’d really love to setup a viewing party to meet even more of you, so I’ve got to think about getting that going.
