Two guys that were instrumental in last night’s 106-101 win over the Bulls were Evan Turner and Kelly Olynyk. Turner, starting at point guard for Rajon Rondo who was back in Boston having surgery, put together a solid line of 19 points, 6 assists & 5 rebounds. His biggest play of the night came with 1:50 left in the 4th. With the shot clock winding down, Turner burned Kirk Heinrich with a slick behind-the-back dribble that freed him up for a baseline jumper. It put the C’s up 99-91.
Olynyk finished with a double-double, putting in 18 points & grabbing 11 boards. KO shot 66% from the floor (6 of 9) and connected on 2 of his 4 attempts from downtown. His final rebound sealed the deal for Boston, as he grabbed Jimmy Butler’s miss with 8.8 seconds left and the C’s up by 4.
Check out the videos below ( via CelticsHD & DTB) which feature both Turner & Olynyk’s highlights. And if you missed last night’s game, I’ve also posted a condensed version of it via the folks from CelticsLowdown.
