Well, we wanted recruiting news… just didn’t expect it to be basketball related!
After a visit to Columbus this past weekend, Baltimore Mount St. Joseph shooting guard Kameron Williams decided to pull the trigger and verbal to Thad Matta and Ohio State, becoming the second member of the 2013 class. Williams will join Marc Loving as a part of a class that’s still developing, which is good news for Buckeye fans after a sub-par (by Matta standards) 2012 recruiting season.
Williams was believed to have been a Miami lean prior to his trip this past week, and called Ohio State “the cream of the crop in terms of men’s basketball”. And Williams ain’t too shabby himself, excelling in one of the nation’s basketball hotbeds.
The 6′ 3″ 170 senior is a four star on most of the recruiting sites, and is also a top overall recruit in the upcoming class. After the jump, you can see highlights of his performance at the Nike Global Challenge… he’s pretty good.

Welcome to the Buckeye Family, Kameron!
