As John wrote about in this morning’s Dump, Kelly Olynyk went off for a career-high 30 points last night as part of Boston’s dismantling of the Sixers in Philly. It was the highest point total for a member of the C’s bench since Ricky Davis in 2005.
Ricky aka ‘Grits & Gravy”, dropped 30+ coming off the bench twice that season for Boston. He went for 36 at ATL on April 1st, and his 30 point game came on January 14th, also versus the Hawks. I added both box scores, Kelly’s from last night, and Ricky’s from 1/14/05 for your comparison below. And unfortunately there are no highlights from Ricky’s game, but do not fret-I have posted some Ricky dunks to take care of your “Get Buckets” craving.
