UConn’s Kemba Walker, newly annointed king of all things crossover nastiness, isn’t a big fan of those silly, old-fashioned contraptions your parents like to call “books.” Walker reportedly just read his first book, and no, it wasn’t One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish.
To be honest, this isn’t too surprising, and that’s not a dig at Kemba. I didn’t read books in college either, and I didn’t have the busy schedule of a superstar athlete to use as an excuse. Besides, the only thing he needs to read from now on is the bottom line on his fat NBA paychecks.
Still, it’s not like we can’t have a little fun with him.
