Kendry Morales of the Angels hit a walk-off grand slam and he couldn’t walk away from it because, during his celebration, he broke his leg. Yes, he broke his leg while celebrating.
This has to be the most embarrassing celebration injury since Bill Gramatica tore his ACL celebrating a field goal in 2001. It also evokes memories of Gus Frerotte headbutting a wall after a touchdown and suffering a concussion. Not a good group to be lumped with, Kendry.
