It was just a normal day of paddle boarding for retired pitcher Kerry Wood and his wife Sarah when, well…an episode of "CSI" broke out.
Monday morning, the former Chicago Cubs hurler was in Belmont Harbor, just north of the Windy City" when he discovered a dead body floating in the water. According to the Chicago Tribune, police were able to piece the puzzle together based on an identification bracelet being worn for the victim. As it turns out, the 40-year-old male was even reported missing earlier in the month.
Per the cops, "Mr. Wood immediately notified 911 of this discovery."
Now that's what I call…a complete game. Yeeeeeeah!
