KG missed his second straight practice today… a marathon 2 hour long session. We've been hearing that his wife is expecting their child. The Celtics are only saying KG's absence is because of "family matters."
Here's hoping all is well in the Garnett household. The Celtics, by the way, have not given any indication that there is anything wrong.

Everything seems to be ok
Celtics forward Kevin Garnett received an excused practice for the second straight day due to family reasons. Celtics coach Doc Rivers declined to go into detail other than to say family reasons, but did say Garnett planned on working out at the team's practice facility tonight and practicing tomorrow.
An NBA source has said that Garnett's wife, Brandi, gave birth to the couple's first child yesterday.
