After practice today, the media asked Kevin Garnett about the recent trade rumor involving the Los Angeles Clippers (scroll to 2 minute mark):
“Danny made it very obvious since day one since he brought Ray and myself here to be aligned with Paul that he was going to do whatever is best for this organization and he’s always made that apparent and I’ve understood that. I bleed green, I die green, that’s what it is. It is a business, and when that crosses the path, I”ll deal with it. But trades are a part of this league. Every year you’re gonna hear certain things, if I were y’all I wouldn’t read too much into it.”
Q. Can you imagine this team without Paul Pierce?
“No. No, I won’t.”

Doc Rivers discussed the new look Raptors, the “silly” trade rumors (1:40 mark) and Rajon Rondo’s impending surgery:

Doc is referring to this blurb in the Herald’s Inside Track that claimed the group had dinner at Strega.
