This doesn’t appear to be any kind of injury issue. This is just a matter of Doc preserving Garnett for the regular season. The Celtics play tomorrow, Thursday, and then both Saturday and Sunday. There was never any chance KG would play all of those games.
I wouldn’t be shocked to see Pierce sit out a couple of games during this stretch. Maybe Terry or even Rondo too.
