Dear Bills,
I’m so sorry that I wasn’t able to catch your flub against the Bengals. Actually I’m not sorry, it sounds like the league screwed us over last week. A national sports league screwing over a Buffalo team?! I’ve never heard of that happening before.
I was able to leave work early on Sunday this week and maybe me watching you play for most of the game is good luck now. In the preseason it had been the complete opposite. That’s okay, we all know the preseason doesn’t mean a damn thing. I’m kind of sad I missed Michael Vick screw up in the first half. I’m sorry, I had an argument with someone the other week on how I could never like a guy who did what he had, no matter how ‘talented’ said player might be. It’s a joke. That’s my opinion though.
Of course me coming home that the Eagles were starting to make a comeback and Vick and Co. made the defense look silly. It’s good that we’ve been able to score a ton of points during these games otherwise we would be screwed. The defense does NOT look good whatsoever. I think they said during the game you guys have collectively given up over 300 yards per game in the past two to three weeks. Probably not a good thing. Defense may win you championships but just keep getting touchdowns.
My favorite play of the game was Fitz yelling out calls and forcing the Eagles to get a false start which brought a flag out. It was an awesome move and brilliant play by our favorite Harvard graduate. It pays to be smart when it comes to football. That killed the Eagles hope of making a final drive to tie up the score.
I guess you guys like nearly causing heart attacks but you’re 4-1 on the season. It doesn’t matter how you got there as long as you DID get there. We’ve got the ten year old looking Eli Manning and the Giants this upcoming week. Just keep driving, boys.
Now I’m hearing that someone is interested in buying you guys? An Englishman no less. Maybe this could happen if something happened to Ralph, but we all know he’s never going to die. He’s a robot. Not the Terminator but the Wilsonator. I’ll stop now.
