Kings fall to undefeated Warriors

For the third game in a row, DeMarcus Cousins sat out with back spasms. The Kings have only won one game without their star big man.

The Sacramento Kings took the lead in the beginning, and even had the lead up to eight, but ended the first quarter down by one. Golden State would never give the lead back.

The Kings finally minimized turnovers, but sadly so did the Warriors through the first half. The Kings headed to the locker room down 56-46.

As the second half began, the Kings began to have turnover problems again and the score began to reflect it.

In a third quarter, the Warriors showed why they won the NBA championship last season. They showed dominance and never looked back. They took the lead 92-71 heading into the fourth quarter.

The Warriors ended the night 120-101 and kept their undefeated streak alive.

“I imagine the ball boy from the Warriors could make threes, if you put him in today,” Grant Napier said during the telecast.

Rudy Gay led all scorers with 20 points, and seven rebounds, but it was nowhere near enough to stop the Warriors’ onslaught.

Draymond Green had his second triple-double in a row, with 13 points, 12 assists, and 11 rebounds. Stephen Curry ended the night with 19 points, six assists, and four rebounds.

The Kings play Monday against the Dallas Mavericks. They really need to win that game. Plain and simple.
