Kings sign Jordan Farmar

After much talk of whether or not Isaiah Cousins would make the team even after signing a one-year partially guaranteed contract, the Kings have signed Jordan Farmar, according to Real GM.

This will definitely make it a lot more difficult for the rookie point guard to make the team but good competition always brings out the best out of a true competitor.

After talking and interviewing the young man at Summer League, he is definitely a competitor and will do his best to perform at a high level.

As of now, we do not know the terms of Farmar’s deal. It could potentially be a training camp deal but let’s not speculate right now.

We know Farmar can shoot the rock and playing under Dave Joerger last year in Memphis doesn’t hurt his chances on making the roster. Only time will tell, but I personally like the idea of guys earning their spot on a roster.

Many Kings players on this roster have a lot to prove. I can’t wait for the season to begin. What are your thoughts Kings fans?
