Yahoo’s Adrian Wonjnarowski of The Vertical always seems to have huge insight on the Sacramento Kings. Basketball fans all over the world refer to his breaking stories, as “here comes the Wojo bomb.”
Even though he sometimes puts extra mustard on most negative Kings news, his network of sources is huge.
Today his “sources” confirmed that the Sacramento Kings plan to interview Mike Woodson in the near future. He is currently the Los Angeles Clippers assistant coach and the Kings will have to wait until they get eliminated from the playoffs.
Vlade Divac was very clear a couple hours after George Karl’s dismissal that he planned on interviewing many candidates for his head coach vacancy. Woodson will be one of them.
Woodson has had success in the regular season with the New York Knicks and the Atlanta Hawks. The next couple of days will be interesting, as we will continue to hear different names linked to the Kings.
