Kirk Morrison appeared on Jim Rome is burning today with fill-in host Marcellus Wiley. They talked about his status with the Raiders after having received the original round tender, as well as his future.
Morrison indicated that he has had talks with other teams, but would not divulge which teams, because “that’s how rumors get started.”
He did say that he was disappointed at first because he felt he deserved a higher tender, but he is excited to “Explore my options, and do what’s best for Kirk Morrison.”
One thing he mentioned repeatedly was that teams were holding off because of the draft. He said that he expected things to happen in the coming weeks as trades shake out.
