Klay Thompson: Seeing DubNation Lined Up Outside Arena “Gave Me Chills”

Week14c

SAN JOSE, CA — As the team bus approached SAP Center, Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson said seeing Warriors fans lined up outside the arena “gave me chills”.

Here are a couple photos of #DubNation, who were eager to show up early as the first 10,000 fans to see the Warriors face the Toronto Raptors received a bobblehead of Stephen Curry wearing a San Jose Sharks jersey:

“Yeah it gave me the chills, man,” said Thompson. “It felt good to be back. It was a short off-season. I wouldn’t have it any other way. It was awesome, man. It really gave me chills. I’m just happy that we won it for them today.”

After the game, Thompson tweeted, “Thanks for the amazing reception San Jose!! Dubs fans are the best in the world!! #DubNation #TheBaysTeam”

Stephen Curry tweeted, “Thanks to #DubNation showing up strong tonight in San Jose. Crazy preseason game! Hope I didn’t foul anyone on the way in or out the arena!”

Even Kyle Lowry was amazed by the turnout as the Toronto Raptors bus arrived at the arena, although he may or may not have been aware of the bobblehead giveaway.

Lowry tweeted: “I guess when you the champs you get pre-season game line with 10k people outside waiting to get in… Sheesh!!!”
