Koji Uehara is going to the All Star Game for the first time in his career. Uehara was selected to replace Masahiro Tanaka on the roster. Tanaka was placed on the 15 Day DL with a right arm issue and therefore will not be able to pitch in the game. Uehara will join fellow Red Sox Jon Lester at Target Field for the All Star Game on Tuesday July 15th.
