MSU guard Korie Lucious was kicked off the team on Tuesday for displaying “conduct detrimental to the program.” Even though his suspension was only to last “the remainder of the season,” Lucious has decided to transfer, according to his mom. While often maligned for playing under expectations (namely shooting way too much), Lucious was a key component in last year’s Final Four run.
While no specifics about Lucious’ suspension have been released, we have a little bit of an idea about what Izzo’s true motives were.
