Kyle Busch Get Tenth Xfinity Win This Season At Phoenix

4 Drivers will move on while 4 other drivers will have their championship hopes dumped as Xfinity drivers were back to Phoenix for a short 200 lap event.  Kyle Busch picked up the pole for the event earlier today in Qualifying.

Erik Jones got the best of the green flag drop and the race lead.  Kyle Busch though got hot and at lap 4 Kyle Busch took the race lead.  The long green flag run ended at lap 49 for debris.  The caution brought in the leaders with Kyle Busch getting the race off pit road.

The race restarted and it was not long at all and the caution came out for Alex Bowman that crashed the wall hard. “Obviously we blew a tire,” said Alex Bowman.  As the race continued we ge a new long green flag run with Kyle Busch leading laps. Jeff Green though at Lap 93 brings out the caution for a blown tire.

The leaders pit and Ty Dillion takes only two tires to lead the race off pit road.  As the green flag dropped is was not long at all and Kyle Busch was back to the race lead.  It was not a long green flag run and at alp 105 we get the caution for Ray Black Jr. that hit the wall.  A new long green flag occurs and at al 138 it was new caution as Brendan Gaughan smacked the wall hard  This caution brought in the leaders and most of the cars in the top 10 take only 2 tires with Kyle Busch winning the race off pit road.

We get a new short green flag run a and Darrell Wallace Jr. hit the wall at lap 149 to bring out the next caution.  The next race restart was the final one as Kyle Busch took the race lead and then pulled out to a massive 5 second plus lead and easily took the race win.  The win was his 10th Xfinity series race this year.

“NOS Energy Drink Camry was awesome tonight,” said Kyle Busch.

“Kept the car out of trouble,” said Elliott Sadler who moves on to the final round of the chase.  NASCAR though had trouble with his lug nuts and wound up suspending his crew chief for the Miami race.

“Very grateful to be in this position,” said Daniel Suarez who made it to the final round of the chase.

“Tough night,” said Erik Jones that made it to the final round of the chase.

“A little bit shorter on fuel,” said Justin Allgaier who had to save a bunch of fuel to make it to the final round of the championship.
