After a break the Xfinity drivers were back to racing at Texas. Brad Keselowski had the pole for the all important event.
Erik Jones easily took the race lead to start the race. The first caution of the day comes out on lap 8 as Brandon Hightower spins out. The race restarted and Erik was back leading more laps. Brad Keselowski though got hot and took the race lead at lap 23. The green flag racing continued long enough and around lap 48 we started the first round of green flag pit stops. After they were over Brad was back leading more laps. We finally get the next caution at alp 70 as Ray Black Jr. spins out. The caution brought in the leaders with Brad Keselwoksi keeping the race lead.
As the race continued Brad Keselowski was back to leading laps. At lap 91 it was back to caution time for debris. The leaders pit with Brad keeping the race lead. When the green flag dropped it was Brad back to leading more and more laps. This wound up being a new long green flag run that lasted until lap 134 as Matt Didenedetto spins out. The leaders pit and Brad easily won the race off pit road.
The next green flag run lasted until we had 34 laps left as Brandon Hightower and his car was smoking big time. The leaders pit and Brad Keselwoksi easily won the race off pit road. This time as the race restarted Kyle Larsonwas able to get the race lead. Brad Keselowski got hot and with 17 laps left tried to get the race lead, but Kyle stayed to the high line and was able to keep the race lead. With under two laps left Brad was getting closer to Kyle for the race lead, but ran out of time as Kyle went on to win the race.
Kyle Larson started the he got to top at the right time and stated that Brad Keselowski was the better car.
“Good day for us,” said Erik Jones.
“Was worried,” said Daniel Suarez on battery problems. “I think were are in a good spot,” said Daniel on making it to the championship.
