The Story: The Angels are overrated by experts, according to ZiPS.
The Monkey Says: Yeah, we know, ZiPS kind of hates the Angels this year. Fortunately, other projection systems like PECOTA like the Angels. Of course, I don’t know that the Angels actually are overrated by experts, as you will see in later links, not a lot of experts are predicting the Angels to do much of anything.
The Story: Good team chemistry vibes are permeating the Angels roster.
The Monkey Says: The Angels invested in that chemistry this offseason, so it is nice to see that it is working. Then again, I think most teams feel like they have good chemistry at the start of the season. When the losing starts, now that’s when the true chemistry gets revealed. Let’s hope we don’t get to that part of the Angels’ season for a long, long time.

The Monkey Says: Kaleb Cowart, Michael Roth, Mark Sappington and Mike Morin return to the Travs. They’ll be joined by notable promotions Alex Yarbrough, Eric Stamets, R.J. Alvarez and Zach Borenstein. In other words, this is the team to watch this year if you are interested in what the 2016 Angels are going to look like.
