Have you ever lost a loved one because they had to relocate for work? Or have someone or something stolen from you? Or a loved one runaway from home?
Do you ever wonder if they’re business location is not worth the price of being in the comfort of their true surroundings? Do you ever wonder if you will ever be in the presence of that stolen object or person ever again?
Do you ever wonder if that runaway loved one will come to their senses and come back home? To most people, it is only a dream for all these wonders to actually come true, because in most cases they never come back and find their way home, but most people always want to hope in that dream to happen…because hope is all we have.
However, on September 18th 2016 on a regular season game, the city of Los Angeles and the loyal Ram Fans who have hoped for nearly two decades got their dream to finally come true! Stan Kroenke, finally relocated back to a land filled with many Ram football memories. Los Angeles reclaimed a team that was once stolen from them, and 90 thousand plus people were in the presence of something rare in this world…a family that was lost finally coming back home.
With that said, there could not have been a better stage for a perfect welcome home party. Perfect southern California weather, L.A.’s own Red Hot Chili Peppers setting the perfect audio theme, Rams alumni on the field, and the blue and yellow colors that the Rams once wore shinning brighter than the Coluseum torch flame which was set at the start of the game. The L.A. Rams scored the first points of a new Era compliments of Greg “the leg” Zuerloin with a 39 yard field goal.
At the half the L.A. Rams had a 3 point lead, it seemed to be anyone’s ball game. However the Rams closed the game 9-3 with a forced fumble. Regards to Case Keenum and the Rams offense with over 250 yards, this Rams defense drove Seattle (a super bowl favorite team) to only 3 points.
All mainly to the key power plays of 3 fumbles and 2 sacks. The only downside of this game is the fact that the 90,000 plus fans at the coliseum did not witness a home touchdown, either way a wins a win and it looks like the city of L.A will all have to wait until October 9th to witness the Rams hitting paydirt.
But when it happens, the coliseum will be as loud as the venue can possibly be. Besides, Ram fans waited two decades for the team to come back home, what’s another few weeks to witness a home touchdown. Fans were on their feet 24/7 and even the defense told the fans to stand up and help them. You won’t be getting 90,000 screaming fans in St. Louis..
