This morning at Hagan Arena on the campus of St. Joes, the eighth seed La Salle Explorers took on the ninth seed Xavier Musketeers. It was a tale of two different halves. Xavier led at the half, 28-21 and then the Explorers took over in the second half, which won them the game. The final score was La Salle 52, Xavier 49.
For the Explorers, guard Brittany Wilson led the team in scoring with 19 points and also added 9 rebounds, 2 assists, and 5 steals. Tomorrow at 12:00 pm, the eighth seed Explorers (14-16) will take on the first seed St. Bonaventure Bonnies (27-2).
