At the Palestra tonight, the La Salle Explorers defeated the University of Pennsylvania Quakers 68-57.
The leading scorer for the Explorers was So. G Tyreek Duren. In 39 minutes, Duren scored 21 points, grabbed 3 rebounds, and dished out 6 assists. Sr. G Earl Pettis also contributed with 18 points and 4 rebounds. The leading scorer for the Quakers was So. F Fran Dougherty, who scored 14 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.
The Explorers, who are (13-4, 2-0 A-10), will take their six game winning streak to the University of Dayton Arena and take on the Dayton Flyers (12-4, 2-0 A-10), on Saturday at 7:00 pm.
