Douglas Hamilton is out for a while after the weird hit/skate cut(?) during the game in Toronto. Lower-body injury is all that's known. Here's the hit we think did it.
So bizarre.

In other news, Loui Eriksson is officially on the IR, compliments of a brutal interference hit by Brooks Oprik in the Bs-Pens shitshow game.
Yikes. Awful hit.
In his stead, Nick Johnson was called up on an emergency basis. No idea if he'll be playing tonght.J ohnson has played in 23 games with Providence this season, notching 11 goals (second on the team) and nine assists for 20 points (third on the team) with a plus-seven rating.
Oh, and guess what? Daniel Paille is also out tonight with an upper body injury. No fucking clue, guys.
So Daniel Paille is out for B/s tonight w/UBI. That makes 6 regulars (Thornton, Kelly, Paille, Eriksson, Hamilton and McQuaid) out vs Flames

And earlier today, Dion Phaneuf was Shanahammered for his hit on Kevan Miller.
So lots of injuries. The silver lining is we'll get to see a lot of young players and what they can do. Now is their time to shine. Good news is they have chemistry together, so that's a bonus in what's been a brutal month health-wise for Boston.
