Much has been brewing over the best free agent still on the market, Mr. Johnny Damon. The Boston hero and his agent Scott Boras apparently met with members of the Red Sox front office and the talks were positive, spurring notions that an agreement may be on the way. The deal looks like it was in the area of four years and just above 40 million, the same contract the Sox gave Jason Varitek last Christmas. Will this be enough to retain Damon?
