Last night multiple reports confirmed that one of the Badgers top 2013 targets, Darius Latham, decommitted from Wisconsin and appears headed to his home state Hoosiers. His loss is surely a blow to the class, especially since he was one of the top 2 prospects committed to Wisconsin. It's got to leave the Badgers searching for a few answers as to how that happened and where to head in the class.
Some fans went into freak out mode because of the loss, but at the end of the day this class is still going to be an impressive one in terms of talent, maybe not numbers. Names like Chekwe Obasih, Alec James and Sam Rairdon are still defensive line commits and quality players in their own right. Does it suck to lose someone that most recruiting services had as a four star recruit? Sure, but perhaps it had as much to do with what he was seeing on the roster as well as what's being built at Indiana.
We'll be exploring those reasons and what's next for Wisconsin tomorrow night on Badgers Power Hour with Ben Worgull of The Badger Nation. So make sure to tun in live for all the latest on that situation.
