In the eyes of the league, charging and throwing a forearm into the back/neck of an opposing player who isn’t looking is the same as leaving the bench during an altercation or lightly kicking a player in the groin. How is that possible?
For whatever it’s worth, Whiteside did reach out and apologize to Kelly.
In my eyes, that apology has the same value as a wet bag of horse manure.
