LeBron James, Chris Bosh Take Heat to Another Level In Game 4

The Miami Heat move one more win from another Eastern Conference title after Monday night’s performance.

James scored 32 points along with 10 rebounds, Bosh added 25 points, and Dwyane Wade contributed 15. Throughout the entire game Miami never trailed grasping yet another win over the Indiana Pacers winning 102-90 in Game 4 for a 3-1 lead.

Chris Bosh scored the game’s first eight points while shooting phenomenally from the 3-point line. He has come a long way from his performance throughout the series only averaging about nine points in each of the first three games in these East finals. However, Bosh held back absolutely nothing in Game 4 contributing magnificently to the Heat’s win.

“I told him he was going to have a great game,” James said, “We got off to a fast start because of him.”

Prior to Game 4 Indiana’s own, Lance Stephenson, made some insignificant comments about LeBron James being weak in a sense of trash talk. According to Stephenson, LeBron’s trash talk is a sign of weakness. “To me I think it’s a sign of weakness because he never used to say nothing,” Stephenson said. “I used to always be the one who would say, ‘I’m going to do something to get you mad.’ I feel like it’s a weakness. I feel like I’m doing something right and getting under his skin.”

Looks like Lance Stephenson’s comments back fired on him, taken he had his worst game thus far while being held scoreless in the first half while in foul trouble, finishing with a series low of nine points. Meanwhile, James played his best game of the series.

Paul George scored 23 points, David West added 20, and George Hill contributed 15. Roy Hibbert, on the other hand, went scoreless in his 22 minutes played for Indiana.

Miami won the first quarter for the first time in the series going up 27-19. The Heat didn’t have a turnover until the second quarter, however James and Bosh combined for 32 points in the first 24 minutes contributing to the five point halftime lead, 49-44. In the third quarter Miami outscored Indiana 31-20 while continuing to pull away until the Pacers used a 15-3 run. Stephenson almost made the game within nine points with 3:20 left on the clock with a layup, but it was called off for fouling Wade on his way to the basket. With 1:31 left on the clock the score was set at 99-90, but James put a dagger on the game with a three-point play.

To some the Miami Heat won because of their talents. To others Miami won because of their trips to the free throw line; those others meaning Paul George.

“I thought we outplayed them,” George said. “They won this game at the free throw line. They really just were able to get to the line more than we were, but I thought we outplayed them. I mean, you can’t tell me we don’t attack the basket as much as they attack the basket. You can’t tell me we’re not aggressive. Maybe we’re too aggressive.”

George would have a valid point only if they didn’t trail the entire game, in which they did. Plus, the five turnovers, seven steals, and 20 points made off of their turnovers had a great deal to do with Miami’s win as well.

“We did only have five turnovers, seven steals and 20 points off their turnovers,” James said. “That has nothing to do with the free throw line.”
