John Giannone tweets that Ryan Callahan was on ice with Marty Biron this morning in Carolina working with a stick and reported “less pain” in broken hand.
Callahan is still targeting Feb 1 return.
Giannone also reports that Eric Christensen worked off-ice today on strength, lateral movement & balance with his injured knee. EC hopes to skate again in a week and return early February.
…look at Giannone reporting some news. I didn’t realize he also works over at NHL Live. How is that possible? You would think the NHL would hire someone with actual knowledge of hockey. Zing!
Finally, Steve Zipay reports that Chad Kolarik will wear #25, while Brody Dupont will don #39.
