Tito called for Chris Smith who followed Lester’s lead with a train wreck of his own. Smith’s line: 6 hits and 4 earned runs in 2 1/3 innings. The Sox had a huge hole to dig out of and were not up to the challenge; the offense only put up 4 hits and was shut out. Strangely enough the Red Sox can win the series tomorrow in Toronto as Dice-K tries to get the team back in the winning groove.
