Let the Draft Opinions Swarm

steam-veggies

I promised that I would continue to research what to do with our picks.  I’ve made mention before on Twitter that it was really cool that this year, the Hornets are having tons of pre-draft workouts with countless players.  Last year was another story; they really didn’t work many players out at all (possibly only Zeller).  Now we have 2 picks in a deep draft, with an opportunity to use both of our picks, trade both of our picks for a pick and/or player, trade picks and players…who knows.  The possibilities are endless.  One thing that we do know for certain is that there will be lots of speculation all the way up to draft night.  This is just a little something to start the Hornets fans to swarming.  I combed the internet at lunch time today, and all of the names mentioned below were in the conversation to be drafted at the 2 picks we have.  The one awkward standout was Zack LaVine being mentioned as high as 9 and as low as 24.

Read through, draw conclusions, and share your thoughts.   There will be more articles coming, but for now, I will continue to stir the pot.  The first article will most likely discuss the names mentioned at the #9 pick.
