The student assistant football staff for the Texas A&M Aggies may have an open spot after today’s Liberty Bowl game against the Mountaineers of West Virginia.
On two different occasions West Virginia players were hit or rather “punched” by a student assistant on the sideline as the players were out of bounds on the Aggies’ side of the field.
According to CBS Sports College Football writer, Tom Fornelli, the culprit was identified in a Twitter post by Brent Zwernemen. Since he covers The Aggies for the Houston Chronicle, Zwernemen was easily able to identify student assistant and former linebacker Mike Richardson.
Colts punter and West Virginia alum, Pat McAfee, also took to twitter posting two clips of the perpetrator in action and voicing his disdain about the actions.
