Anyone who knows my work is aware I rarely cite statistics. I am spell bound by sabermetrics, especially the work by my colleagues over at Statistically Speaking. Honestly, I probably read their work more than any other site on the network.
However, I refuse to allow those manipulative numbers influence the way I feel and the opinions I express. Call it old-school, call it ignorance, it’s me.
