The Tampa Bay Lightning announced their 2015 preseason schedule today. The Bolts will play seven games in total including three home games at Amalie Arena. They will play home and home series’ against the Florida Panthers, Dallas Stars, and Nashville Predators.
Tampa will meet the Pittsburgh Penguins in Johnstown, Pennsylvania for the first “Kraft Hockeyville USA” preseason game. The town was selected as part of a competition in which communities demonstrated their commitment to the sport of hockey. This is the first time the winner will host a preseason game. The contest will be broadcast on NBCSN.
The full 2015 preseason schedule is as follows:
- Tuesday, 9/22/15 Amalie Arena Nashville Predators
- Wednesday, 9/23/15 Bridgestone Arena Nashville Predators
- Friday, 9/25/15 Amalie Arena Florida Panthers
- Saturday, 9/26 American Airlines Center Dallas Stars
- Tuesday, 9/29/15 Cambria County War Memorial Arena Pittsburgh Penguins
- Thursday, 10/1/15 Amalie Arena Dallas Stars
- Saturday, 10/3/15 BB&T Center Florida Panthers
The 2015-16 regular schedule will be released this Thursday June 25th.
