…looks like the Rangers decided to start their Turkey Day a little early. Too bad by the time they finally remembered that Mike Smith plays goal for Tampa it was too late.
…i hate to say this, especially with how atrocious the team played in front of Lundqvist, but it’s all about wins and right now Hank isn’t getting them. I’m expecting Biron to be back in there on Friday night. Did like that Torts stuck with Hank allowing him to fight through it and hopefully gain a little confidence.
…tonight was exhibit “A” as to why the Rangers need a crease clearing defenseman. Tampa was in Hank’s grill all night with no repercussions.
…wonder if Christensen thought Avery threw a cheap shot when the Rangers pest stuck up for him.
…Gaborik has been invisible since his hat trick against Edmonton a week and a half ago. Maybe the Rangers do need Richards or at least maybe Gaborik does.
…man the Rangers are second class citizens at MSG. First they’re relegated to MSG 2 then we miss the first three minutes of the game as the telecast didn’t start until the 17 minute mark. Awful.
