With Martin St. Louis nursing a lower body injury, the Tampa Bay Lightning have recalled forward Brett Connolly from the Syracuse Crunch. St. Louis is as durable as they come. He’s appeared in 853 of a possible 860 games, including playoffs, since the end of the 2001-02 season. With Connolly’s call up, it looks as if St. Louis’ appearance tomorrow night versus the Wild is in jeopardy.

The British Columbia native also ranked tied for second for points with four and his +4 rating ranked tied for fourth on the Lightning during the preseason.
