Tampa Bay’s general manager Steve Yzerman announced Friday that the Lightning have recalled forward Cory Conacher from the Syracuse Crunch.
Conacher has played in four games with the Crunch so far this season. He’s recorded two goals, five points, and eight penalty minutes. He’s second on the team in points and tied for the team lead with three assists.
He was one of the final players assigned to the AHL before the start of the 2016-17 season. Through four preseason games Conacher scored one goal, four PIMs, and averaged 14:22 in ice time.
The move came after Nikita Kucherov left last night’s game in Montreal after the first period. Kucherov is listed day-to-day with an upper body injury.
