The Tampa Bay Lightning today announced the 23-man roster that will represent the team at the 2015 Prospect Tournament, which the Lightning are hosting for the first time in franchise history, at Germain Arena in Estero, Florida from September 12-15. The Lightning team is also scheduled to practice at the Brandon Ice Sports Forum on September 10 and 11 before heading to Estero. Practice times are TBA.

The Lightning team consists of all draft picks with the exception of one, Daniel Walcott, who was acquired from the New York Rangers via trade. The roster features a pair of first-round picks, including 2012 10th overall pick Slater Koekkoek, who saw limited action with the Bolts in 2014-15, and Anthony DeAngelo, who was taken 19th overall in 2014. It will also have six second-round picks, including highly-touted prospects Adam Erne and Dominik Masin. Other top prospects participating are former Quinnipiac forward Matthew Peca, Minnesota Golden Gopher goaltender Adam Wilcox and forward Brayden Point who represented Team Canada at the 2015 World Junior Championships.
Of the nine draft picks made in 2015, six will be part of the Estero tournament, including top pick Mitchell Stephens, and fellow forwards Anthony Cirelli, Boko Imama, Mathieu Joseph, Dennis Yan, as well as defenseman Matt Spencer.
The Florida Panthers, Nashville Predators and Washington Capitals will also be icing teams in the tournament.

The Bolts will open training camp on September 17 and play its first preseason game on September 22 at home against Nashville.
The Lightning will open defense of their Eastern Conference championship on October 8 against Philadelphia at Amalie Arena.
