Ducks listed as a 14.5-point favorite, and LaMichael James is still on the official two-deep. Does he pull a Willis Reed? Cliff isn’t starting.
On my wish list for the first quarter: completed passes for decent gains to at least three of the following: Paulson, Lyerla, Vaughn, Tuinei, Kenjon to have run at least twice for 12 yards or more, and the defense to have created at least one three and out or turnover.
But we’ll see.
A few surprises in college football today, one involving the top ten: #8 Clemson losing to Maryland, which potentially helps the Ducks, providing they take care of ASU. Michigan, Baylor, Georgia Tech and Illinois all lost, and Kansas State is trailing.
Update: Rob Moseley, Chris Courtney and others are reporting that LaMichael James is in sweats, no visor. He’s not playing.
Sammy Watkins of Clemson is one exciting football player. Just made a dazzling return. Like to see Cliff Harris bust one or two of those, but watch out for Arizona State’s Jamal Miles, who has scored on both a kickoff and a punt return this year.
