Tonight, in WCC conference action, the upstart Portland Pilots are on the road as they are taking on the San Francisco Dons. The Pilots have a 12-9 overall record and a 4-5 conference record. The Dons have a 13-8 overall record and a 6-3 conference record.
Last week, the Pilots went 1-1 in their games, first defeating the BYU Cougars on the 23rd in triple overtime 114-110. Then on the 25th, they lost to San Diego at home 65-63. Their leading scorer is junior guard Kevin Bailey, who is averaging 17.2 points per game.
For the San Francisco Dons, they are coming into tonight’s game with a two game winning streak defeating San Diego and Santa Clara. This game is huge for the Dons as they are in third place in the WCC and are two games behind Gonzaga. San Francisco’s leading scorer is senior forward Cole Dickerson.
